SUPPORTING INITIATIVES THAT USE MUSIC TO BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER

The Fonds K promotes organisations which develop charitable initiatives around music. It supports cultural projects that encourage well-being around the world, such as those using music as a vehicle for social inclusion.

Current project

The Fonds K supports the Petits Violons of the Paris Opéra, which teaches violin to children from underprivileged neighbourhoods and Viva Ensemble, which strives to share the emotions procured from music within the hospital and charity arenas.

#Research

IRCAM

The Fonds K is financing a 3-year thesis for the Ircam (French Institute of Acoustic/Musical Research and Coordination) to develop a sonic lexicon highlighting semantic and acoustical relationships thereby establishing a correlation between oenological and sound properties.

Atelier Ostinato Orchestra

The Fonds K supports the Atelier Ostinato Orchestra, a true “springboard orchestra” for young music graduates from all over the world who wish to become professional orchestra musicians.
